Last year’s Autmn Collection was much more structured, with clever geometric shapes, tailoring and detail. Now we’re going back to drape and lots of it. Cowls, cowls and cowls, extra long scarves, fine-knit sweaters. Big hats or snug cloches and lovely lacy legwear. Marvelous.

Woolfish Festival Update

What a fabulous little Woolfisher festival was held up there in St Abbs. Of course photographs were taken. There were alpaca and wee angora goats..
Here are some wee things these sweet animals help create, all from the lovely people at Cairndinnis in East Lothian.
They have the softest yarns, and sell from their website. I bought a piece of fine, very soft felt, about a metre long and 14″ wide. It’s rather lovely just as it is, but I might learn needle felting to finish the edges, or possibly embroider. Either way it makes just the softest winter wrap.
