Cold Days = Great Knits

Its another unseasonably cold Spring day in Melbourne with icy winds swirling around. And although I’m looking forward to warm days, it means that I have the opportunity to wear my new knit one more time before the heat sets in!!!!

This is a test I did for the talented Brendadada.

I fell in love with the chunky flower lace that Brenda adapted to knit in the round. See it here
There are plans for a pattern to be released early next year, so look out for it, it is beautiful!!!

    • The construction is so simple and so effective, Brenda has done a great job with this design.

  1. OH, its beautiful, is it done in DK or Aran weight yarn, I love it although I doubt the pattern will come in my plus size frame. By the way I’ve almost finished those leg warmers for my niece, I’ve done son hand warmers too, her mum said she will love them. Thanks again for the pattern.

    • Hi Catherine
The yarn I used for my test knit is DK weight… I am not sure what sizes Brenda will have in her pattern. I did a 34″….. Have a look at her project page on Ravelry (link above)

    • Hi Peggy
I am not sure of the sizes Brenda will do her pattern in, but I don’t think it will be available anywhere before early next year. Keep a look out on Ravelry. I’m sure Brenda will have more information on AA as well.
